mother’s love is peace; it need not be acquired, it need not be deserved.

i think that it is only fitting to reserve today’s entry for somebody who is special in our hearts.

this is the day we honor them – for those who don’t honor their mother’s everyday. or this is the day we make it a more special experience for them.

our mothers has been our:

  1. teacher
  2. caregiver
  3. coach
  4. guidance councilor
  5. prefect of discipline
  6. spiritual adviser
  7. financier
  8. moral supporter
  9. number one fan
  10. shoulder to cry on
  11. confidant
  12. friend

our mothers went through every profession we can think of and yet, be the same loving person that she is.

i would like to thank every mom who gave birth. i know that we couldn’t imagine the pains of hours of labor. i know that we will never experience what you experience. it is long and hard work but you still pushed and moaned until your child was born. i thank you.

i would like to thank every mom who stood by their child in the process of growing up. you all helped us be the person we are now. and without you, we wouldn’t be bearing this values and virtues. i thank you.

i would like to thank those moms who were by their children in times of trouble and heartaches. nobody would understand us better but people whose blood travels through our veins. your advices and moral supports helped us through. i thank you.

i would like to thank those moms who would willingly sacrifice themselves for their children. mothers truly exemplify the most unconditional love we can find on all of Earth. by this sacrifice, you make life more wonderful and meaningful to live in. i thank you.

a special thank you to those mothers who are in prison and yet would never tear their hearts away from their family. i salute you all.

i would want to give gratitude to those single mothers. it is hard to give birth to a child; it is harder to raise a child single-handedly. i salute you all.

and to all the moms that have not been mentioned, your ways may be different but i know that in your heart, you will always love your child.

this is a shout-out to the moms of my friends. thank you for not aborting your once unborn child. 🙂
